The world I know
March 6, 2013
Sometimes I think the life I live is too small, especially when I put it up in comparison to others. It’s hard not to think that when one is not only under a microscope through Facebook and other social media, but when one is staring up through that same lens to the other side. I see friends and family doing things I would love to do, experiencing things that I don’t know if I’ll ever get to do.
In my head, my life is small.
That’s when I step back and remember that the lens is exactly that–a window that is distorting my perspective.
I made the choices in my life that have brought me to my present and no matter what, my life is my own.
